2010 is here.....
Well 2010 is upon us, and already our calendar seems to be getting full ready for the new year. We have had interest from the Middle East and Europe, so its looking like a fun filled year of exciting projects.
We have also taken the plunge into the twitter pool, so you can keep up to date with where we are and what we are doing.
Wind Down December 2009
Well as another year comes to an end I would like to take a moment to reflect on 2009.
As a company we have had a successful (if not hectic) year working with our clients, designing fun and innovative products, integrating a whole host of different systems. During the last year one of our main aims was to make these ever more complex systems even simpler and even more fun for our clients to use. We have taken a different approach to other programmers and I think we have managed to now produce simple and easy to use GUI that anyone of any age can use. These have been extensively tested on Children/spouses and mother in-laws.
Our GUI’s can be custom designed to fit into any décor, from a stately home to a modern mansion. We will have some screen shots up in January of our new GUI in Action.
We plan to have some Video’s produced in the New Year Show casing our GUI implementation, and how easy it is to use. So keep checking back for an up date.
Well, all that’s left is for me to say I wish all our clients a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year for 2010.
All the best
Iain…

'Phew' what a manic few months, firstly Sorry for not keeping the News page updated with current events but even with the recession Kustomworks has been kept extremely busy, with current and new projects. It has seen Kustomworks travelling all over the UK as well as a couple of trips to Europe.
We now have a little bit of breathing space, so we though a update on current events was in order. We are just starting our first Scotland Job based in Aberdeen, we will be working with Synergy Control Systems, both myself and George are thrilled to be working together on this exciting system.
We have also secured a second project again in Scotland with the prospect of more Scotish jobs over the coming months and following into 2010 in the pipeline.
the Kustom-Synergy link has allowed both companies to offer Greater UK Coverage, so dealers and Private clients alike get the chance to benefit from our expertise and fresh take on programming in either their current projects, be they new build or retrofit.
Also we will be updating our GUI library over the coming months, with some interesting templates, we have been working on. So be sure to check this out.
kustomworks goes green- MARCH 2009
Over 40% of the UK's carbon dioxide emissions, the main greenhouse gas which causes climate change, actually come from the things we do every day.
Things like leaving lights on unnecessarily or overfilling the kettle all waste energy and result in needless carbon dioxide emissions. This section looks at the impact we are having on climate change and what's being done to help fight it.
The UK has committed to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 20 per cent by 2020 and seeks an 80% reduction in emissions by 2050 . There are a number of initiatives that have been set up to help meet this reduction, these include the Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT), the Climate Change Levy and the Climate Change Bill amongst others.
Because of these alarming facts Kustomworks is committed to do its part and where ever possible assist our growing client base reduce their carbon footprint. We will achieve this with intelligent system programming. Read our Green Solutions page for more information
